The mission of the South Williamsport Area School District’s counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate counseling program that addresses the development of individual potential, help students acquire knowledge and skills as foundations for life-long learning, value themselves as well as others, and function productively in an ever-changing society.
Mrs. Wagner is in her first year at South and enjoying every minute of it! Her focus spreads across academics, career, and personal/social domains. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University and received her Master’s in School Counseling from the University of Scranton. Her goal as a School Counselor for the 2016-2017 school year is to break down the barriers that may prevent students from reaching their full potential.
Mrs. Correll will focus on college and career preparation as students plan to graduate during the school year. She previously taught English at South Williamsport Jr/Sr High. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Mansfield University. In May 2002 Mrs. Correll earned her counseling certification from Bucknell University.
Mrs. K. Geise
Mrs. Geise has been an employee in the district for many years. This is her fifth year working as our School Counseling Secretary. She is able to accommodate students with transcript requests, college and military visits, and so much more!
