    • Elementary Special Education Teacher – This full-time position is available starting at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.  Position is for learning support.

    • Paraprofessonals Multiple Positions Available. The District has multiple paraprofessional positions available for the 2026-2027 school year. Hours vary from 6.0-6.5 hours per day based on position. Applicants must possess an eagerness to assist with support for students with special needs, work collaboratively with all professional staff, and participate in additional trainings as required. Position follows the school day/school calendar. Hourly rate is $17.74 per union contract. Benefits not included.
    • Lunchroom Monitor. The District is hiring for a lunchroom monitor at Central Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. Hours will be 3 hours per day. Starting rate is $17 per hour per union contract. Benefits not included. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting students and monitoring student behaviors while in the cafeteria.
    • Full Time Maintenance Position. Position is available immediately. This is a first shift position with working hours from Monday – Friday; 6:30AM – 3:00PM and includes benefits per union contract. Requirements for this position include basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds keeping. Starting wage will be assessed according to the skill level presented.

    • Substitute Food Service Workers. Called on an as needed basis to cover employee absences. Hours are typically 3.5 hours per day during lunch periods. Applications accepted until adequate substitute roster is established.

  • The Borough of South Williamsport is hiring two seasonal Crossing Guard employees; one full-time Crossing Guard, afternoon hours only, to work 5 hours a week, and one substitute Crossing Guard. The individuals must be able to pass a PA Criminal History Check and PA Child Abuse Clearances.
