South Williamsport Jr/Sr High School
Meet Our Principals
Welcome to the South Williamsport Jr/Sr High School website, home of the Mounties. Our school is committed to providing a learning environment in which students and staff can develop individual potential, acquire knowledge and skill as foundations for life-long learning, value themselves and others, contribute to their communities and function productively in a changing society.
My educational background began with my undergraduate work, completed at Bloomsburg mUniversity in 1998 and then receiving my Masters in Education in 2002. I taught Social Studies at South from 1998-2008. During that time I taught 11th grade World Cultures, 9th grade American History I, 8th grade Geography, and 7th grade Geography, PA History, and Civics. In 2008, I became the Dean of Students and Athletic Director. I received my principal’s certification in 2009 from California University of PA and was promoted to Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. I served in that capacity until becoming the Principal of grades 7-12 in 2011.
I believe strongly that communication is the key to academic success. For our partnership to work, school and community together, we must have great communication. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Through the teaming model, we as a high school will also communicate with you if we have any concerns or successes to share.
