Pennsylvania Electronic Teacher Evaluation Portal (PA – ETEP)
Welcome to South Williamsport Area School District’s Teacher Evaluation Portal!
Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, all professional employee observations will be completed through PA-ETEP. What is PA-ETEP
PA-ETEP is Pennsylvania’s electronic teacher evaluation portal for educators.
PA-ETEP is designed to facilitate the PA Department of Education’s new teacher evaluation process. It has been developed by EduLink in partnership with Midwestern Intermediate Unit. This web-based tool guides and supports all steps of the Pennsylvania Teacher Effectiveness model from Pre-Observation to Final Walk-through.
PA-ETEP is fully aligned to the PDE adopted process and allows for real time access to evidence and feedback for both the teacher and supervisor. Each interaction is documented for record-keeping and authentication with a time and date stamp. Accessible using any internet capable device, this system has a user friendly interface that eliminates the need for the exchange of paper documentation and enhances efficiency and accuracy.
How does PA-ETEP Work?
Teachers can interact with supervisors throughout the observation process, send notifications, and review their performance records. Additionally, teachers are guided through their Student Learning Objectives for the year, such as establishing Goals, Performance Measures, and Performance Indicators.
For Non-Teaching Professional Employees (N-TPE)
Manage N-TPE Observations and perform formal ratings using periodic, semi-annual, and annual summative rating forms. Supervisors can quickly reference observations, assign rating values, and automatically calculate final ratings.
Supervisors can manage the entire observation process from start to finish with support for Walk-throughs, Formal Observations, Differentiated Observations, SLOs, 82 Rating forms, and more. PA – ETEP is crafted to align with the teacher evaluation requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Act 82.
