In partnership with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Messiah Lutheran Church, the district distributes food packs to children in need. Every child in the school district is eligible. This program is provided free of charge. Enrollment is easy. Simply complete the registration form attached, and return it to your school’s main office or school counselor. That is all that is required.
Each Friday, your child will be provided with a bag of nutritious, non-perishable food to be eaten over the weekend. The food will be provided or picked-up by your student at the end of the school day, and it is not intended to be opened until your child is home. The food pack will arrive in a black plastic bag intended to fit into their backpack.
