Run – Hide – Fight
Run – Hide – Fight is planned response developed by the FBI for use in schools, houses of worship, public spaces, and any business or location where people gather. Although the District has utilized a different training program for many years, the transition to RUN – HIDE – FIGHT aligns our terminology and training with what is currently seen as best practices by the local, state, and federal law enforcement and Emergency Management services. Our first priority is safety of all and this technique is applicable any where a student or staff member may be when an active shooter event occurs.
